There are several great websites for baby boomers on the internet dealing with things such as nostalgia, etc., and I will provide links to those sites as we go along. While I will get into a little of that, my primary objective is life going forward. My site will have many personal stories. What I am not is a famous person, an icon or even a college professor. However I am a person who grew up from humble beginnings,and through my own self determination, I have been able to go places and accomplish things that I could only dream of as a child.

Would You like to LEARN TO FLY? Then do it. Speaking as a pilot myself, you will probably love flying. How about RVing. Now that is my next dream. I personally have done all of the foreign travel that I care to do. I want to buy an RV and travel this beautiful country because there is so much to see. I live on the Florida gulf coast, so boating has always been a part of our lives. Yes boating is expensive, but my wife and I are willing to give up other things in order to do it. Perhaps you are saying, but I can't afford it. Neither could we.

We love to travel and most people do. If you do have a trip planned don't forget to stop by this store first.. My whole point is, find something in life that you are really passionate about. We all have our dreams and thats great, but to make them come true you have to take it to the next level, MAKE IT HAPPEN. Never accept excuses like I am too old, I don't have time, or another good one is I probably couldn't have done it anyway. I grew up on a farm, the son of a share-cropper, one of eleven children. My father worked 12 and 14 hour days, 6 days a week, and guess what? so did we. My father accepted his life, but I never accepted that it would be my life. I could have quit school as far as he was concerned, as a matter of fact he even tried to get me to. He loved me. It was just at that particular time people had to work hard just to put food on the table. He didn't understand the need for an education.

I had made up my mind that I was getting out of there, and I constantly read every thing I could get my hands on, and I started dreaming. I guess that is where my love for history comes from. I read everything I could get my hands on about big cities and far away places. Without any one to encourage or drive me I graduated 2nd in my class. On graduation day (and I planned this) after the ceremony was over, I turned my cap and gown in, and while the rest of my class were hugging and crying, I turned on my heels, walked out of the school building, got in my 57 Chevy and I was gone. I have never been back, not even to a class reunion, and I have never looked back. Have I ever regretted it? Not in the least.

So again I ask? What is your passion? What would you really like to do with the rest of your life? Is it just simply to visit some country, perhaps a career change, going back to college, going into business for yourself, or going fishing. Never, never, let anyone drag you down. I was deeply touched to read the story of a young man who survived a severe automobile accident that left him disabled, but it is obvious that he doesn't want anyone feeling sorry for him. I make a good income on the internet. Actually anyone can as long as you do it the right way. I'm not talking about the "get rich quick scams" and believe me I have been there. You don't have to be a web master know html, css or any of the programming languages. But believe me when I tell you there is only one way for a small business person, stay-at-home-mom, or dad to do it and be sucessful. Turn a hobbie or something you love to do into a profitable business just as I have. "Why build JUST a Web site...when you COULD build a Web BUSINESS?" .

Many people love digital photography, I do. I just purchased a Sony 10.3 MP and I love it. Actually digital photography can be a business as well as a hobby. You can upload your photos that you want to share to several sites and get paid for letting people use them, for example on my website. I paid for many of the photos on this site, especially when I didn't have one of my own to go with particular subject. The better the quality of the photo the more money you can get for it.

There are so many things out there that are fun to do. You just have to look for them. Above all find something you will enjoy.

There is absolutely nothing that anyone can do about the aging process. We all age at the same rate every day. That is just a fact. To me the most important thing is "how you live that day".

I enjoy working on my websites and you can to and no you don't have to have any html experience, at least if you do it this way.

My wife was sitting quietly one day recently and I could tell something was bothering her. She is still working, is a corporate executive and has always loved her work.
